We’re a team of three. This site started in 2019 as a general tech blog — practical how-to guides and tech reviews on programming, networking, and everything in between, back when that kind of content reliably pulled search traffic because people searched for instructions and clicked through to find them.
That search behavior has changed. When someone can ask an AI assistant directly and get an answer in the chat window, a lot of that click-through traffic simply doesn’t happen anymore — we’ve watched it happen in our own numbers, not just read about it happening to other sites. We haven’t deleted the old how-to catalog; a good chunk of it still gets read and still holds up.
What changed instead was where we put new effort. As AI tools started flooding the market, readers kept asking us the same question, over and over, in the comments: which one is actually worth using? We’d already spent years reviewing tech and software, so reviewing AI tools was a natural next step — people wanted someone to do the digging and gather the best information around a tool before they committed time or money to it, and that’s what we started doing. The shift toward AI wasn’t a rebrand decided in a meeting. It followed the questions readers were actually asking us.
AI Tools
We run two different things under this section, and the difference matters enough to explain properly. Most of our individual tool pages — the profile for a specific product like Cursor or Ironclad — are built from that tool’s own documentation, pricing page, and public materials. We’re acting as a directory there: broad, accurate, honest about what each tool actually does, even when that means saying a tool isn’t as capable as its own marketing suggests.
Separately, every category has its own “best of” post, and that’s where we do the work ourselves. We hand-test the tools before ranking them and show what we actually tested, not a feature list lifted from a landing page. That’s the part we care most about getting right, and it’s the part we’re actively expanding — more categories are getting real hands-on testing as we go, rather than staying as a flat list of individually accurate but uncompared entries.
Tech Roadmap
Real tech careers, laid out honestly: software development, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, AI and data, design. What each path actually involves, what skills it requires, what it takes to get started, and — the part most career content skips — whether it’s likely to fit how you actually think and work, not just which one shows up first on a “highest paying tech jobs” list.
Tech Tools
Small, free utilities we’ve built ourselves. Starting with a Domain Age Checker and an AI Image Checker, with more added as we build them out.
Tech & AI Updates
Splitting into three focused feeds — the latest tech news, the latest AI developments, and cybersecurity updates specifically — instead of one general feed where cybersecurity news gets buried under product launches, or the reverse.

Where We Stand
We’re not affiliated with any hosting company, tool vendor, or outside source, and nothing here is a paid placement or sponsored ranking. We do run Google AdSense to help cover hosting and keep the site running, but ad revenue has no say in which tools we recommend or how we rank them. If something makes a “best of” list, it’s because we tested it and thought it earned the spot — not because of who happened to be advertising that week. When we’re not sure about something, or haven’t tested it directly, we say that too, rather than filling the gap with confident-sounding guesswork.
